Ways to Pay Your Loan

We promise to make it easy to do business with us and paying your loan should be no different. Below you will find our convenient payment methods for your loan.

Online Banking

Transfer directly from your GCEFCU savings or checking account within online banking.
Processing Time: Immediately
Fee: Free

In Person

Stop by any of our locations to pay your loan in person. To view all locations and hours, click here. You can also visit any Shared Branching location to make your loan payment.
Processing Time: Immediately
Fee: Free

By Mail

You can pay your loan by mailing a check to our main office. Please do not mail cash. Mail to: Gulf Coast Educators FCU, 5953 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
Processing Time: Next Business Day
Fee: Free

From Another Financial Institution

You can transfer money to your accounts at other credit unions or banks by adding them as an external account. Simply log into online banking from your desktop computer and go to the SETTINGS section. Select the ACCOUNTS tab and click LINK AN EXTERNAL ACCOUNT. Once you have completed all of the steps, you can make transfers to and from your external account within the TRANSFERS section of online banking. There is no charge for this service with the payments taking up to 5 business days to post.

Using a Debit Card

If you would like to make your loan payment online from another financial institution, you can use our Web Payment Center.
Accepted Debit Cards: MasterCard, VISA, and Discover
Processing time: 2 days
Fee: $5

By Phone

You can pay your GCEFCU loan using a debit card from another financial institution by calling us at 281-487-9333.
Processing time: 2 days
Fee: $10

Skip-A-Pay

Being a GCEFCU member has many perks – Including the option to skip your loan payment when you need it most. Members are allowed to skip their loan payment(s) up to two times per calendar year. See if your loan is eligible for Skip-A-Pay by clicking the button below.

When should I reach out if I am having trouble paying my loan?
As soon as possible. The earlier you communicate the better.

What if my loan is already past due can you still assist me?
Absolutely. Please reach out any time to see options available for assistance.

What options may be available to me for my loan?
Skip a pay, loan modification, hardship extension, arrangements, etc.

What loans are eligible for skip a pay?
All loans are eligible for skip a pay except for credit cards, share secured, mortgage loans or single payment loans. More details can be found by clicking here.

What options do I have for my mortgage loan?
A modification option may be available. Please reach out to Ashley Wacker at AWacker@gcefcu.org for more information.

How long do I have to pay back a negative account before it is closed?
This can vary depending on the reason for the overdrawn balance. However, it is typically closed after 30 days.

How do I make arrangements to pay my overdrawn account balance?
