Dollar Up Savings
The Easy Way to Spend & Save
Here’s how it works: Every time you make a purchase using your Gulf Coast Educators debit card, your transaction amount will be rounded up to the next dollar, and the difference will be put into your new Dollar Up Savings account. That savings grows without any effort on your part at all, and at 2.99% APY*! Then at the end of the quarter, we’ll deposit the money into your primary savings to spend or save however you’d like. Think of it as your virtual change jar!
Example: If you spend $3.50 on coffee, $8.13 on lunch, and $56.26 on gas during one day, at the end of the day $2.11 will be transferred from your checking account to your dollar up account.

Minimum balance of $5 on Dollar Up Savings account to begin earning 2.99% APY. No outside deposits may be made to the Dollar Up Savings account. Total sum of remaining cents for each debit card transaction will be automatically deposited into Dollar Up Savings account at the end of each day. Funds must be available in the checking account to complete transfer. Funds will be deposited into the member’s primary savings account the first day of every quarter.

If you are planning to travel internationally, please be sure to let us know so that we can ensure your card works properly. You can now easily submit your travel notice in online banking or the mobile app under the Card Management tab. Please be sure to submit your notice at least 24 hours before your planned trip. Lost or stolen cards
Lost or Stolen Debit Cards
If you misplaced your debit card but believe it is still in your possession, you can place a temporary block on your card through the Manage Cards widget in online banking or your mobile app. Once you find your card you can always turn it back on.
If your card was lost or stolen, you can report your card and have it turned off immediately in the Card Management section of online banking.
Mobile Wallet
Mobile Wallet
With your mobile wallet, you can pay for purchases online and in person, straight from your phone. First, you must add your debit or credit card to your mobile wallet app. Which app you use will depend on which phone device you currently have. Click the button below for more details.

You can update your PIN at anytime right within online banking or the mobile app under the Card Management tab. You may also give us a call at 281-487-9333 to update your PIN.

- To set up text or push alerts for card usage, click the “Manage Card Alerts” setting in the Manage Cards widget of online banking or your mobile app.
- To set up card controls to block or enable specific transactions, click the “Manage Card Controls” setting in the Manage Cards widgets of online banking or your mobile app.
Digital Issuance
Digital Issuance
To view your existing card information without having your physical card, click the “View Details” link in the Manage Cards widget of online banking or your mobile app. Once your card has been digitally issued through this method, you can utilize it for digital purchases or manually add it to your mobile wallet without having the physical card present!
